The H72 UHF TV 470-860MHz Broadband Panel antenna provides a horizontal polarisation. Also, the design allows multi-channel digital and analogue TV broadcast. Furthermore, the specification allows a high power rating, voltage rating and full UHF TV bandwidth. This makes it ideal for a multitude of custom and conventional antenna arrays. Input flanges with various international standards are available. Current monitoring probes are an option.
The rugged horizontally polarised construction will deliver at least a 25 year operational life. Hundreds of units are in service worldwide. Fibreglass radomes, constructed from custom specified coloured resin, give all round environmental protection. Also, the panel, with a 72 degree horizontal beam, gives good omni-directional performance in a five around configuration. Vertically spaced high gain arrays on 1 to 1.1m centres provide 32x wavelengths apertures.

Furthermore, the H-72 UHF panel, is the ideal choice for use in high power multi-channel arrays. This panel provides five around top mount or side mount systems. Also, a large cross section multi panel wrap around arrays are available.
Without any pattern degradation, five panels per tier gives 70% additional internal area compared to the equivalent square array. This provides space for more, higher power harness components whilst also providing good internal climbing access. Internal ladders are provided. Optional external ladders are an option.
Pentagonal steel spines or large cross-section structural steel tubes are available to support up to 20 tiers of panels. Cantilevering on the tower top is an option. Alternatively, incorporation on to the mast with guy wire supports.
AlanDick design and supply suitable interfaces to fit existing structures. Fibreglass infill sectors between the panels are an option. These improve the aerodynamic loading and provide a considerable reduction in tower loading.
