The VHF TV Quad Dipole Panel Antenna is a Quad Dipole Panel and operates across band 3 from 170 to 230 MHz.  Development focused being versatile, robust and reliable.  As a horizontally polarised module, it forms the basis of a range of standard antenna arrays.  Custom designs provide tailored radiation patterns to your specific needs.. Moreover, we fully optimise the H-90 horizontal plane pattern panel inline with normal panel requirements. The design is for mounting around triangular structures. AlanDick also offers the H-120 panel for triangular structures.


Furthermore, hot dipped galvanised steel tube forms the radiating elements which are 76mm (3″) in diameter. Mounting is a quarter wavelength in front of a galvanised steel screening frame. The screening frame uses tubular main members and screening bars and provide a low effective wind area.

The main members provide a versatile means of fixing the panel to a variety of structures. This also uses standard clamps without the need for complex and expensive steelwork. Weather protection of the dipole feed points is provided by GRP covers.

In addition, its normal configuration there are two inputs per panel. This provides a high input power rating. Also, the vertical plane radiation pattern of complete arrays provides greater control.  Simplified installation is also provided by retaining smaller, easily handled distribution feeders. It also includes the advantage of a one piece screening frame. A single input alternative is available.
